I didn't use this on its own, but mixed with a level 4 toner as well to restore my base colour after a hairdresser stripped my hair by leaving the bleach on too long (fyi to all stylists: not all brunettes want to be blonde).

This toner and the level 4 helped to add base reds and ultimately bring my hair colour back to it's beautiful dark brown. This is a gorgeous colour, and very soft as well. Only downside is it's a little drying, but coverage is good and lasts a while.
